  • Technical Buyer, Desktop (m/f) – Galliate, Italy
    To support our R&D department in Galliate (Italy), we are looking for a Technical Buyer, Desktop (m/f)

    Your Tasks:

    • Represent procurement interests in a cross-functional team charged with bringing new products to market
    • Engage with Engineering, R&D, Quality and Product Management teams, to design, prototype and launch new products in most cost-effective and commercially attractive position
    • Ensure new products are designed for sourcing and manufacturability
    • Develop make/buy strategy and manage relevant outsourcing contracts
    • Lead selection of initial suppliers at very early stages of product development
    • Negotiate critical short-term contracts for the prototyping and initial release phases (including pricing and delivery terms)
    • Work with purchasing to ensure adequate supply chain is in place to support new product prototype
    • Maintain supplier KPI’s and conduct regular supplier reviews/improvement meetings
    • Identify alternative suppliers and sourcing of obsolete/poor availability parts
    • Assist in the development of purchasing budgets and price forecasts
    • Engage with logistics to ensure in/outbound freight, duty, and customer/statutory product domestic content requirements are optimized

    • Outstanding project management skills, preferably within new product development teams. Must be able to meet multiple commitments in cross-functional team environments under tight deadlines
    • Solid materials and purchasing/strategic procurement background in the machinery or electronic industry
    • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to communicate with suppliers worldwide
    • Strong presentation skills. Must be comfortable and competent at presenting technical information to the company’s senior management
    • Ability to comprehend and interpret engineering drawings, quality systems requirements, bill of materials etc.
    • Ability to understand component requirements and communicate requirements to suppliers
    • Strong personality
    • Very good analyzing and reporting skills
    • Solid computer skills with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Previous experience in leading contract negotiations independently
    • Organizational and teaming skills to accomplish team objectives
    • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 10%)

  • Export Shipment Specialist & Warehouse Supervisor – Galliate, Italy
    For the Matica Group’s production site in Galliate (NO) Italy, we are looking for a Export Shipment Specialist & Warehouse Supervisor.

    Your Tasks:

    Shipping
    • CEE and Extra-CEE issuing documents for shipments, shipping follow up and handling of all the problems relevant to dispatching.
    • Customer contacts to track shipment.
    • Forwarders and fast couriers dealing for quotations and updates
    • Credit Letter
    Warehouse
    • Supervising daily logistics and stock management in incoming and outgoing (quality / quantity).

  • Marketing Assistant North America (m/f) – Piedmont (Greenville), South Carolina (USA)
    For our Marketing team we are currently searching for a Marketing Assistant – North America (m/f) located in Piedmont (Greenville), South Carolina.

    Your Tasks:

    • Develop top-of-mind awareness for the Matica brand within the industry in North America
    • Develop and implement activities to expand Matica’s channel business in the region
    • Coordinate and work with Headquarters marketing team to create regional marketing programs and to communicate local needs
    • Develop, adapt and implement regional marketing initiatives and materials, including print and web advertising (brochures, mailings etc.), digital and social media, customer events, public relations, internal and external communications
    • Assist in designing promotions adapted to the reality of the local markets
    • Investigate and draft case studies and success stories within the region
    • Research and interpret information on competitors, customers, market needs and industry trends to better understand and promote product positioning in the region

    • Responsible for card printer hardware repairs, including safety checks etc.
    • Manage hardware & spare parts returned by customers or partners for warranty claims or repairs
