Desktop Card Printers
Espresso II is Matica’s response to the evolving needs in the ID card printing sector. An adaptable direct-to-card printer, Espresso is a perfect blend between German reliability and Italian design and engineering. This desktop model offers consistent performance, speedy output and additional options to meet the developing needs of your organization.
More than meets the eye: Espresso II elegance and power
The design of Matica’s Espresso II is sleek and classic, proving that a printer does not need to be cumbersome to offer versatile printing. The standard model measures only 395 x 200 x 253 mm (slightly longer if a reject bin is attached) and weighs 6.6 kg. Therefore, this space-saver can be seamlessly integrated even into the smallest office environment or stowed out of sight in a cabinet or under a counter.
Espresso II robust and elegant body houses Matica’s state-of-the-art ID card printing technology. Its outstanding reproduction quality is warranted through dye sublimation or thermal retransfer for color and monochrome mode respectively. At 300 dpi, this model is capable of producing up to 260 cards per hour in full color, or up to 850 in black and white, making it one of the fastest solutions on the desktop ID printer market.
Matica Espresso II provides efficiency and adaptability for a great return on investment
Though the standard Matica Espresso II printer is configured to act as a single sided card printer, it can be updated to duplex at any time, without the need to install additional hardware components. Other functional upgrades are similarly available to continually adapt to your business needs. The model’s durable construction and German reliability also entail a long-lasting production, meaning that Matica’s Espresso II price is not the only variable you need to calculate the real return on investment.
Opening the front door hopper does not cause stoppage. This ensures continuous output, leading to even more efficient card production as opposed to comparable older devices. Lastly, you can choose a card material to suit your demands: from regular and composite PVC, to PET or varnished ABS.
User friendly operation and flexible encoding
The backlit blue stripe located on the card hopper door of Matica’s Espresso II printer helps you keep an eye on the 100-card automatic card feeder and react accordingly, especially if required output is high and time is pressing. In addition, single card manual insertion is possible. Thanks to the ribbon-carrier, ribbon replacement is quick and easy, further simplifying printer maintenance. Ethernet connectivity is also available as a choice for even more convenient printing and encoding. Espresso II software works with Windows 7 and higher, making it a great fit for a modern office.
Flexible encoding options include contact and contactless chip smart card, as well as magnetic stripe encoding. Hence, you can utilize this card for attendance or access control, to conduct payments or acquire benefits. As a result, Matica’s Espresso II has a range of applications and you can use it to create employee or student IDs, loyalty or gift cards, transit cards and many more.
